We are looking for new members to grow and maintain our band. We welcome anyone who loves to make music, enjoys a great group of musicians, and desires to have fun along the way. NO AUDITIONS are required; we do ask that you can read music and be 18 years of age or older.
So what does it take to play in the band?
The group is looking for concert band instrumentalists. Skill levels vary within the band. Some members have played on their instrument for only a couple of years, while others have played for decades. So get your chops warmed up, and come join us. If you still are not sure, come to one of our rehearsals and play with the band with no strings attached!
How much time am I required to invest to play?
It is important to be at rehearsal, since this is the only time you get to play with the group each week. It is also important to play at the concert as well since you have worked so hard. Outside practicing is encouraged but not required. If you miss rehearsals then you may need to practice outside of the normal schedule.
I do not play an instrument, but I want to help!
That is great because being a non-profit organization, we appreciate all sorts of help and support.
